If 33 bhp is not enough for you and you are over 21 years of age, have completed both C.B.T. and the motorcycle theory test, then you can take further training and your practical test on a larger bike - minimum 46.6 bhp. At Two Wheel Training Wales we use Honda CB500's, a Suzuki GS500 and a Kawasaki ER500 which have approximately 58 bhp.

The Direct Access Scheme (DAS) allows you to by-pass the 2 year qualifying period that the younger riders are restricted to.

On-road training is conducted with a training ratio of 2 students to one instructor (maximum).
DAS training days are 5 hours per day.

AT Two Wheel Training Wales we can provide you with a complete package for this course which is inclusive of the C.B.T. on the first day training and resulting with your test on the final day. The theory test must also have been successfully completed. These packages can be for 4, 5 or 6 days depending on how much training the individual needs. Your practical test is also booked for you as part of the the overall package, making the whole course a stress-free experience for you.

Having successfully passed your direct access test, you can now ride any cc machine with no restriction on your licence.

Post Test Training

For £20 we can offer a one hour post-test session using techniques required for safe motorway riding.

We can also offer riders who already have a full motorcycle licence but haven't ridden for a while - who are returning to motorcycling perhaps - a one on one hour long session with an instructor, including bike and radio communications, with a view to getting them back up to standard and to be more confident with their riding capabilties. Price is just £20 per hourly session.

125cc Bike Hire

For individuals who have passed their C.B.T. with us and, in between DAS training days, wish to practice further or for those who feel they require more practice before they embark on any further training, we can hire out 125cc bikes for just £45 per day.
